The ESG Advisory team within the Investment Bank works across capital markets (DCM, ECM, LDCM, etc.) and corporate finance & advisory. The team helps originate sustainable finance transactions for DB’s clients across the US, European and Asian capital markets, provides ESG ratings and strategy advisory, and advises clients on how they can tap into a pool of (ESG) capital that is the fastest growing segment in finance – both on debt and equity angle.
The Capital Solutions & Sustainable Financing team within the Investment Bank focuses on Debt Capital Markets and Origination and Advisory. The team helps advise clients on how to fund their business in order to meet shifting regulatory requirements, and how best to finance acquisitions – in the process originating transactions in debt format.
This mix of topics and discussions makes our jobs exciting and extremely diversified.
We are coverage teams, which means we talk to clients about their ESG positioning, financing needs and opportunities and we are constantly looking for funding solutions.
The desk is looking for an intern to join the team. Due to its diversity, the internship is open for people with a strong will to learn and implement constantly changing products/concepts, bearing in mind that client contact remains key in our daily job.
The candidate will have the possibility to assist the team in and be trained on the following activities:
Assist in the preparation of pitch documents, which may include market and company research or regulatory initiative tracking, as well as other materials using MS Office suite
Assist with executing a variety of transactions including eurobond issues and private placements in different markets and currencies
You will liaise regularly with the broader ESG Advisory and Capital Solutions teams across London and Frankfurt, as well as other colleagues in the Debt Capital Markets team
You will be requested to leverage internal relationships to ensure that client focus is in line with our business
Work on other minor tasks such as tombstone creation, deal tracking
Requirements:
