The candidate will manage collection accounts through the Legal Recovery process to ensure actions are completed in a timely and appropriately by our external! legal vendors to increase recoveries. The job function will include the review of past collection efforts, preparation of account referrals and correspondence with attorneys and or investors to bring the account to a resolution. The candidate is responsible for executing affidavits attesting to the account status and collectability along with determining SCRA coverage. The candidate will negotiate settlements and payment plans as appropriate.
Qualifications
3 years knowledge of the collection process for consumer and/or commercial products and payment negotiations following FDCPA.
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Excellent attention to detail
Effective time management skills
Must possess good judgment and decision making skills
Ability to interact with management levels up to Vice President.
Knowledge of Legal terms and procedures a plus
Knowledge of financial statements and acc! ounting principles
Ability to effectively interact wi! th both internal and external customers
Ability to effectively manage vendors
Negotiation and presentation skills
Basic knowledge of and experience with MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Access and Outlook.
Hours and Work Schedule
Hours per Week: 40
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM
