Compliance Manager â" Compliance is an individual contributor role with responsibility for managing projects relative to work standardization and optimization. Responsible for overseeing the administration and monitoring of EEOC, OFCCP, AAP, and other compliance reporting, practices, and regulatory efforts for LIN Media, LLC. This position is exempt and reports to the Vice President of Human Resources. Duties include:
Identify opportunities of improvements in HR admin processes
Lead projects relative to work standardization and optimization
Conduct training for HR community on targeted administrative process changes
Direct customers to proper delivery channels
Develop and Update SOPâs
Support Metrics, reporting and presentation requirements
Serve as a HR operational subject matter expert on various teams
Provide Compliance oversight
- Reviews and interprets employee d! ata in preparation for annual EEO-1 filing and AAP plans.
- Oversees audits conducted by federal and state agencies, including preparation of responses and
â" Oversees I-9 program administration.
Tracks trends and developments in various functional areas
Participates in working groups, councils and committees
Manages special projects
Trains employees on various topics
The Compliance Manager uses discretion and independent judgment on a daily basis in handling confidential employee information, interacting with employees, management, and outside parties including vendors, third party administrators, and attorneys.
Job Requirements:
Bachelorâs degree or equivalent work experience
SPHR or PHR preferred
5 -7 years of progressively responsible HR generalist experience! .
Skilled in HR compliance with strong understanding and knowl! edge of EEOC and OFCCP regulatory and filing requirements. Audit experience.
Ability to influence others, lead indirect teams
Demonstrated ability to drive change
Project management skills will be an advantage
Customer service focused
Clear process focus, systematic, organized.
Excellent communication skills at all levels in the organization
Effective at managing multiple priorities
Proficiency MS Outlook, Microsoft Word and PowerPoint. Intermediate skill in Excel required
