Description: Axelon Services Corporation is in need of Loan Operations/Loan Svcg 1 right now, this vacancy will be placed in Rhode Island. For detail informations about this vacancy opportunity please read the description below. Summary: This position will be located in the Production Closing hotline dept. This call center is responsible for taking calls from customers and banks to schedule e! quity loan closings. This position is 100% call center environment. Ability to navigate through various systems needed to schedule loan closings. Use 4 dif computer systems including: Credit review, closing calendar, and transaction express.
Responsibilities: Get loans from queue, pull up review and reach out to customer. Schedule loan and go over in detail the closing (ex: any fees, who needs to come, review accounts, where, what time etc)
Skills: Strong Phone skills and etiquette. Some background understanding of Loans/loan docs. Loan product knowledge to effectively answer questions from Bankers and customers.
Training: On the job training, Sit with an employee for first week. Second week continue only listening but do driving with computer. Once comfortable allowed on phones by themselves.
Shift can be Mon thru Fri 8:15-5pm or 9:15-6pm for delivering excellent customer service while on the telephone. must b! e a team player and available for OT if required
E! ducation/Experience: Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience. 2-4 years credit card, mortgage, and security loan processing experience.
Skills and Competencies: Working knowledge of mortgage loan documentation. Knowledge of lending compliance regulations (Reg. Z, RESPA, Truth in Lending, Reg. B, HMDA). Knowledge of business desktop applications (i.e.: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access & Project, Windows, Visio, etc.). Knowledge of proper English usage, grammar, spelling, vocabulary and of generally accepted office practices, procedures and equipment. Knowledge of compliance in a banking environment. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Accurate with numbers and attention to details. Ability to work independently or with minimal supervision. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Ability to perform mathematical calculations (or analysis). Ability to organize and prioritize workflow and to coordinate the work of others. Ability to m! aintain updated knowledge of procedures, products and activities of assigned area. Ability to accurately proofread documents. Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced, team environment. Working knowledge of loan and revolving credit terms. Working knowledge of loan and revolving credit documentation.
Major Duties and Responsibilities: Document preparation for loans. Update rate changes on various loan systems. Create new loan checklists. Account maintenance on various systems. Vehicle title tracking. Maintain insurance tracking reports. Prepare monthly and quarterly billing. Board new loans on various loan systems. Interface with portfolio managers and custody agents. Quality control of loan documentation. Communicate with applicants, clients, staff and third parties (attorney, closing agents, vendors) to answer questions and resolve issues. Create mortgage loan documentation on Laser Pro. Prepare daily control agreement and watch list reports. Prep! are and monitor daily collateral analysis reports. Daily loan transacti! on reconciliation. Prepare People Soft journals. Research GL outages. Recovery payment tracking. Process non-post items.
