Assist attorneys in the defense of lawsuits
Assist in the preparation of pleadings and motions; Conducting discovery, including obtaining recor! ds and reviewing documents; Interviewing clients; Preparing trial materials; Conducting legal research
Monitors and maintains compliance with Claim Litigation Management System â€" Team Connect
Works under the direction and supervision of a licensed attorney
Qualifications
Must meet the following requirements:
Four year college degree AND one year Paralegal experience
- OR-
Required to have experience writing Legal Opinions and/or Briefs.
Insurance Defense or Personal Injury experience preferred. Candidate provides writing samples.
Meaningful experience in a litigation setting; prior insurance defense experience preferred
Advanced knowledge of software applications including Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel, Internet, and other web-based applications
The ability to accurately process a variety of tas! ks and high volumes of work in a fast-paced, dynamic environme! nt
Possesses effective communications skills necessary to interact with coworkers, clients, claims partners and outside vendors
A strong commitment to exceptional customer service and quality
