Currently seeking a Sr. Project Manager (PMP Certified Preferred) with 7-10+ Years of experience. Technical Project Management in a higher educational envir! onment is strongly preferred.
Bachelor’s degree, PMP certification, or equivalent education and experience. Experience in the Higher Education environment a plus. 10-15 years of IT experience preferred, minimum of 7-10 years experience planning and managing all sizes of technology projects. Demonstrated ability to define a complex work breakdown structure and drive project execution in an organized and disciplined manner. Highly proficient with project management tools including Microsoft Project Professional Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to communicate at all levels in the organization (with senior management, with technical and business-oriented project staff, with users and stakeholders) Ability to foster buy-in and cooperation through persuasion, influence, and persistence Strong analysis and facilitation skills. Ability to work effectively independently and as a member of a team. Able to negotiate with peers and superiors to ensure the ! work gets done. Ability to easily multitask. Well organized an! d capable of tracking, managing, and resolving issues on multiple projects simultaneously. Self-motivated, professional, flexible, comfortable with ambiguity in a diverse organizational environment.
