Currently seeking a Sr. Project Manager (PMP Certified Preferred) with 7-10+ Years of experience. Technical Project Management in a higher educational en! vironment is strongly preferred.
Bachelor’s degree, PMP certification, or equivalent education and experience. Experience in the Higher Education environment a plus. 10-15 years of IT experience preferred, minimum of 7-10 years experience planning and managing all sizes of technology projects. Demonstrated ability to define a complex work breakdown structure and drive project execution in an organized and disciplined manner. Highly proficient with project management tools including Microsoft Project Professional Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to communicate at all levels in the organization (with senior management, with technical and business-oriented project staff, with users and stakeholders) Ability to foster buy-in and cooperation through persuasion, influence, and persistence Strong analysis and facilitation skills. Ability to work effectively independently and as a member of a team. Able to negotiate with peers and superiors to ensure t! he work gets done. Ability to easily multitask. Well organized! and capable of tracking, managing, and resolving issues on multiple projects simultaneously. Self-motivated, professional, flexible, comfortable with ambiguity in a diverse organizational environment.
