The Fidelity Customer Protection Services (FCPS) team builds and supports authentication and identity management applications to facilitate secure access to Fidelity’s customer facing systems. We operate through multiple channels including internet, voice and trusted partner sites providing both direct and federated authentication services. In addition, we support second factor authentication utilizing various out of band, knowledge based, and token verification methods. The FCPS product line works directly with many of Fidelity''s business units including the retail brokerage, 401k, and institutional brokerage to provide authentication solutions enabling critical customer transactions.

We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to participate in a diverse array of development projects. Job and required qualifications are as follows:

Primary Responsibilities

Establishes and manages full project life cycle plans for moderate or complex projects. Plans and coordinates project schedules, deliverables, goals, milestones and makes project assignments. Manages one or more technology projects or programs that could span multiple areas, business functions and multiple platforms. Adheres to financial guidelines, tracks team hours and expenses against project budget. Builds partnership relationships within the department and with various levels of business partners across the organization. Maintains status of project and monitors activities of team members. Responsible for understanding and handling change management impacts (e.g. negotiate schedules/time). Effectively applies our methodology and enforces project standards. Holds regular status meetings and keeps project team well informed of changes within the project. Mitigates team conflict and communication problems. Effectively communicates relevant project information to senior management. Create strategies for risk mitigation and contingency planning. Efficiently identifies, resolves and/or escalates project issues in a timely fashion. Interviews sponsors and business partners to understand project objectives, use cases and requirements. Executes analysis, documents requirements, makes design recommendations and creates specifications. Evaluates design of existing systems to judge their functionality, effectiveness, reliability, performance, usage, maintainability.

Education and Experience

Bachelor''s Degree or higher or equivalent eperience. Minimum 8 years of project management/system analysis experience in a financial services environment. Experience in managing projects dealing with security and web based applications.

Skills and Knowledge

Strong leadership presence and skills Excellent planning, prioritization, organizational, presentation, and customer service skills. Ability to juggle multiple projects at once and work in a dynamic work environment. Excellent written and verbal communication, interviewing and requirements gathering skills, and strong interpersonal skills. Experience in a variety of software development life cycle methodologies. Proven technical analytical skills. Ability to diagram business processes and system workflows. Solid/seasoned knowledge of project management methodologies. Solid application/technology knowledge and expertise in one or a few areas. Candidates must be able to work independently and with minimum supervision drive long-range targets. Solid knowledge of financial management/budgeting process.
