Coastway Community Bank Prepare and process mortgage applications, ensure appropriate preparation for closing, provide Member Service in accordance with Coastway’s standards.
Responsibilities :
Ø Obtain initial application package and review for completeness; verify documentation and prepare package for underwriting; interact with Mortgage Originator to obtain additional information or documentation as necessary. Ø Prepare the loan for underwriting according to secondary Market guidelines and / or CCB guidelines. Ø Order various third party / vendor support documents as necessary. Ø Interact with attorneys to ensure adequate preparation for closing activities. Ø Respond to Member inquiries and resolve issues for Members. Ø Maintain files in accordance with policy guidelines. Ø May assist with preparation and quality control of files to ensure loan packages are filed in accordance with CCB policies and procedures. Ø Obtain training as necessary to stay current with industry changes. Ø Adhere to all job-specific Federal and State laws and regulations, and related Bank policies and procedures, to ensure effectiveness of Bank’s compliance management program. Attend and successfully complete compliance related training as directed by SVP/Compliance. Ø Receive direction from the Mortgage Operations Manager and perform miscellaneous duties as assigned. Ø Cross train on closing and shipping within the department.
Experience, Education and Skill Requirements
Ø 2 â€" 4 + years Mortgage processing, closing or servicing. Ø Diploma or equivalent work experience.
