This position is for a .60 ELEMENTARY LIBRARY MEDIA SPECIALIST split between two elementary schools (North Scituate elementary and Clayville elementary). The successful candidate MUST CURRENTLY HOLD a valid Rhode Island Department of Education Certificate in library media science. If you are only certified as an elementary teacher and do not have the proper certificate, please do not apply for this job. No candidate without the proper certificate will be considered.
Candidate MUST BE certified by the Rhode Island Department of Education as a library media specialst. This is a PART TIME (60%) position. The successful candidate must complete a full BCI (background with fingerprints) check with the RI Attorney General's Office prior to being appointed to the position.
