A successful Third Party Administrator in the East is looking to add a Pension Plan Administrator/Actuary to serve in a virtual capacity, working from their own home-based office. This individual will serve in a "doer" role preparing annual actuarial valuations for large clients (250-1000 lives), FAS 87 and 158 reports and government forms (5500's and Schedule B's). This individual will have regular phone contact with clients and manage approximately 30-40 plans.
Will prepare and consult on the funding and FAS projections and then comm! unicate to the client. This is an opportunity to join a growin! g firm with a full staff of enrolled actuaries, attorneys, QPA's, QKA's and CPC's and other consultants, several of whom are virtual employees. Over half the firm works virtually from home. The firm offers services that include plan design, compliance testing, and administrative, actuarial, and consulting services.
Position requires a minimum of 5 years of current, hands-on experience doing valuations, government forms and FAS 87 reports. This could be an actuary or a DB administrator. Must have FAS experience to be considered. The key is the person must be hands on.
Must have their hands into actually loading the data and coding the system.
