Evaluate legal liability and aggressively pursue, negotiate, and resolve subrogation collection. Communicate with policyholders, claimants, witnesses, attorneys, and underwriters to obtain/provide necessary information.
Major Duties and Functions Include- Under immediate supervision of a supervisor or senior staff, evaluates legal liability and aggressively pursues, negotiates, and resolves subrogation collection. Secures additional information/investigation from referring office when on-site investigation is necessary. Communicates with policyholders, witnesses, attorneys, and underwriters to obtain/provide t! he necessary information. Documents claim file to meet all com! pany and state regulations. Manages pending claim cases to meet company quality and production standards. Stays abreast of industry trends and recent applicable litigation. Reports the presence of fraud indicators. Performs other duties as assigned or required. What You Need to Succeed-
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year of related experience. RI Adjusters License. Desired Qualifications:
General knowledge of the Property and Casualty industry, products and coverage’s. Functional understanding of Subrogation concepts and procedures. Associates degree in related field or equivalent experience. Competencies: Produces results, uses sound business judgment, builds strong relationships, focus on customers, written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to negotiate. Work shouldn’t be something you do just to make ends meet. It should provide satisfaction…and an opportunity to make a difference.
