Judge Healthcare is currently seeking a Perioperative Nurse Educator for an excellent opportunity in the Providence, RI with a premier health system. This is! a managerial position that is full-time, permanent with great salary and benefits. This position is a Monday through Friday opportunity that is day shift schedule.
Job responsibilities:
Provides leadership and clinical expertise to enhance professional nursing education and development and shares responsibility to integrate evidence-based standards of nursing practice into patient care.
Coordinates and manages the standard of competency-based orientation and continuing professional development program to improve the quality of nursing care and foster a spirit of clinical inquiry.
Will be accountable for the development of assessment and evaluation criteria that identify educational needs and measure effectiveness of educational programs aimed at improving patient outcomes.
Education/Qualifications:
Active RN license of Rhode Island
Must have a BSN, MSN preferred.
Atleast 5 years of clinical teachin! g/educator or developing programs for OR.
Atleast 5 y! ears of OR experience is a must.
PACU experience preferred.
