Responsible for preparing and reviewing documents for all loan types including mortgages, credit cards, and loans collateralized by securities. Education/Experience: Bachelors Degree or eq! uivalent work experience. 2-4 years credit card, mortgage, and security loan processing experience. Skills and Competencies: Working knowledge of mortgage loan documentation.
Knowledge of lending compliance regulations (Reg. Z, RESPA, Truth in Lending, Reg. B, HMDA). Knowledge of business desktop applications (i.e.: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access & Project, Windows, Visio, etc.).
Knowledge of proper English usage, grammar, spelling, vocabulary and of generally accepted office practices, procedures and equipment. Knowledge of compliance in a banking environment. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Accurate with numbers and attention to details.
Ability to work independently or with minimal supervision. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Ability to perform mathematical calculations (or analysis). Ability to organize and prioritize workflow and to coordinate the work of others.
Ability to maintain updated knowledge o! f procedures, products and activities of assigned area. A bili! ty to accurately proofread documents. Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced, team environment. Working knowledge of loan and revolving credit terms.
Working knowledge of loan and revolving credit documentation. Major Job Duties and Responsibilities: Document preparation for loans. Update rate changes on various loan systems. Create new loan checklists.
Account maintenance on various systems. Vehicle title tracking. Maintain insurance tracking reports. Prepare monthly and quarterly billing.
Board new loans on various loan systems. Interface with portfolio managers and custody agents. Quality control of loan documentation. Communicate with applicants, clients, staff and third parties (attorney, closing agents, vendors) to answer questions and resolve issues.
Create mortgage loan documentation on Laser Pro. Prepare daily control agreement and watch list reports. Prepare and monitor daily collateral analysis reports. Daily loan tr! ansaction reconciliation.
Prepare People Soft journals. Research GL outages. Recovery payment tracking. Process non-post items.
Closing Coordinator: Looking for a person to communicate loans that are ready to close with the company’s closing agents. Contractor will work to schedule closing between client closing dept and the title companies. Follow up on regular intervals to ensure loans are scheduled within department time frames and without risk of expired rates or documents. Enjoys working in a fast paced environment with tight deadlines.
Ability to handle multiple priorities and strong phone skills also required. Must have knowledge of basic mortgage knowledge and forms and be well organized.
