Post by Jobing - The Content Technology Solutions Team within Fidelity Personal Investments (PI) is seeking a skilled Project Manager to lead key web development initiatives for Fidelity.com. In this highly visible role, you will be working directly with both technical and business stakeholders to structure key requirements into sustainable solutions. You will be responsible for the management and organization of project teams to ensure requirements, designs and project objectives are met within expected timelines and budget. *This role is based in Smithfield, Rhode Island.
The Content Technology Solutions team is part of the broader Web Search and Content Group under PI Product Technology. Our team is responsible for new and enhanced design and development of application areas across Fidelity.com. Some of our primary focus areas include: Homepage (www.fidelity.com) /News, Mutual Fund and Content Delivery/Managed content solutions throughout the site. We provide technical solutions for Fidelity's external and internal customers.
Primary Responsibilities Lead discussions between the development and business teams to capture business requirements, stories, use cases, business flows and acceptance criteriaManage the project team through the Agile project lifecycle including requirements, development, testing/quality assurance and production releaseCollaborate across teams to gain consensus for project direction and requirements agreementAssist in evaluating design of new and existing systems to judge their functionality, effectiveness, reliability, performance, usage, maintainability and cost of ownershipRecommends changes to existing systems design to achieve requirementsActively manage budget, schedule and resources throughout the project deliveryManage business and management expectations and communicate effectively to bothWork effectively in global team distributed across geographic locations: North Carolina, New England, India, and ChinaEducation and Experience Bachelor's degree in an IT or related discipline6 year(s) + of IT development and project management experienceFull project life cycle experience in Agile is strongly preferredSkills and Knowledge Solid collaboration, communication and business relationship skills and experience managing midâ€"large project teamStrong technical background and experience in full development of web applicationsProven experience of project management processes, development lifecycle methodologies such as Agile, across complex technology initiatives.Full understanding of the software development process including analysis, design, coding, system and user testing, problem resolution and planning with an emphasis on Agile approaches.Strong written, presentation, and facilitation skills, motivated, selfâ€"directed, results orientedParticipation in multiple projects in a dynamic environmentTechnology background in Content Management Systems (CMS, or SDL Tridion) a plusStrong planning and organization skills as role will communicate with varying levels of team members across business stakeholders, technology and management.
