The Senior Legal Counsel, Employement Law will be a member of a collegial team of six employment and labor lawyers within a 50-lawyer legal department, reporting to the Vice President and Senior Legal Counsel overseeing labor and employment law matters. The position may sit in any of our three major locations: Woonsocket, RI or Scottsdale, AZ or Northbrook, IL

Job duties:

• Provide advice and support on employment law matters to internal CVS Caremark business partners
• Manage employment litigation assigned to

outside counsel

• Draft and review agreements and policies

concerning employment matters

Requirements:

• Minimum eight to ten years of experience in employment and labor law
• Several years of law firm experience essential; in-house experience a plus
• Excellent writing and oral communication skills
• Experience with California employment law preferred but not required
• Ability to work well with HR professionals and other lawyers
