The Senior Legal Counsel, Employement Law will be a member of a collegial team of six employment and labor lawyers within a 50-lawyer legal department, reporting to the Vice President and Senior Legal Counsel overseeing labor and employment law matters. The position may sit in any of our three major locations: Woonsocket, RI or Scottsdale, AZ or Northbrook, IL
Job duties:
- Provide advice and support on employment law matters to internal CVS Caremark business partners
- Manage employment litigation assigned to
- Draft and review agreements and policies
Requirements:
- Minimum eight to ten years of experience in employment and labor law
- Several years of law firm experience essential; in-house experience a plus
- Excellent writing and oral communication skills
- Experience with California employment law preferred but not required
- Ability to work well with HR professionals and other lawyers
