Description: Scituate School Department is at present recruited SCITUATE HIGH SCHOOL 1.0 SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHER - SELF CONTAINED right now, this position will be dwelled in Rhode Island. For detail informations about this position opportunity please read the description below. Scituate High School is searching for a dynamic full time special education teacher. This position may contain a schedule which includes self contained classes. To this end, the successful candidate for this position MUST hold a valid RIDE teaching certificate with appropriate special education certificates. Any applicant who applies without proper certification will be automatically deleted from the candidate pool.
This position is being posted concurrently to the collective bargaining unit in Scituate. If there is an internal candidate who can fill this position by voluntary transfer, the position will go to them and be deleted from School Spring.Each applicant MUST BE HIGHLY QUALIFIED for this position. Highly qualified status MUST BE PROVED by either a transcript analysis (candidate would need to have 30 college credit hours in EACH of the following certification areas - Science, Social Studies, English, Math) or they can prove highly qualified status by providing the Scituate School Department with a copy of their HOUSSE RUBRIC which was issued by their district or by the Rhode Island Department of Education. The successful candidate for this position MUST HAVE A CLEAR AND COMPLETED CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECK DONE WITH THE RHODE ISLAND DEPARTMENT OF ATTORNEY GENERAL.Thank you for your interest in the Scituate School Department.
