You will be providing a seamless Patient experience, while ensuring that our patients are receiving the care they need. The onboarding specialist is the first point of contact for all new patient who receive their device in the mail. We are hiring a patient onboarding specialist to increase patient adoption and assist patients with the setup of their remote patient monitoring device, in various states, in partnership with cardiology, internal, primary, and family medicine physician groups and healthcare systems. Successful candidates will bring experience in patient onboarding and/or call center experience.

The Patient Onboarding Specialist supports the Patient Enrollment Department by reaching out to patients who have enrolled in remote patient monitoring and providing assistance to them with their remote patient monitoring devices.

Responsibilities

  • Make outbound calls to patients and provide information about remote patient monitoring and how to use their device. Explain program benefits and address all patient questions.
  • Ensure seamless, complete and effective onboarding process for all enrolled patients into the care monitoring programs
  • Be the initial point-of-contact for calls for new device set up
  • Effectively troubleshoot devices as needed
  • Manage a daily high open caseload until the device set up task are completed
  • Provide exceptional customer service and positive experience for patients/caregiver
  • Navigate multiple systems and portals to input patient information
  • Achieve monthly completed task goals
  • Additional duties as assigned

Ideal candidate will possess:

  • 5+ years Experience in high-volume inbound and outbound call environment required
  • Device set up and troubleshooting experienced preferred
  • Must have poise and patience when dealing with patients
  • You are comfortable communicating with patients over the phone, overcoming objections, and have good problem-solving skills
  • Keen attention detail, metrics driven, excellent time management skills
  • High computer literacy
  • Engaging personality with the desire to connect with the patient
  • High empathy and collaborative team player
  • Flexibility and openness as the role and responsibilities may change and/or evolve as we grow!
